After loving the first book so much, I went to a signing with Holly Black as this book came out. She spoke about the book until I was desperate to read it. I started it on the journey home.
The relationship between Jude's and her siblings is instantly portrayed, before it develops into her and Cardan's complicated bond. Full of twists and turns, this book never gets boring and I finished it really quickly, before eagerly waiting the release of the third book, Queen of Nothing. I love this genre in general, so when it was recommended I read it instantly.

I love how it ends on a cliffhanger as that makes me as a reader question what's going to happen next...

With Jude's clever, cunning personality, compared to the slightly softer mannerisms of her twin really shows the comparison between the twins, and the older sister is different again to both of them. A definite must read.
