The Wicked King is the second installment in The Folk of the Air series with the first book being The Cruel Prince. With this story taking place straight after the events of book one.
First of all I LOVE all the characters. I love Madoc and his relationshis with Taryn, and Jude. I also love Vivi!
I feel like one of the main problems I have with fantasy books is that they focus more on the world building and the general plot instead of developing the characters in the story. However, this book spends a lot of time developing all its characters so you feel like you really know who they are.
You definitely need to pick up this book series just because of the amazing twists and turns, especially in the ending!
