This book was amazing! One of the best I've read this year. I have to say that the first book didn't win it for me right away but I was still interested enough to read this one. I'm so glad I did! The characters, the story, everything makes so much sense and is so cleverly told. I love the magic world and how everything connects. Jude's development was amazing, her cleverness really impressed me. The plot twist was... heartbreaking! I was so devastaded by it but at the same time impressed. The relationship between Cardan and Jude is so interesting, although I think sometimes it lacks a bit of depth.
The writing is very easy to get into and it keeps you curious. I read this all in one sitting because it's very "addictive"! I went on to read Queen of Nothing right after.
I'd definately recommend this book to everyone that didn't enjoy The Cruel Prince, I can assure you that it's much better.
