Continuing on from the first book in this series, this book follows Jude through the adventures and trials she faces. It is a thrilling story to read, and extremely well written.
The story is easy to follow, without being boring, but there are still surprises and plot twists that made sure I was always on the edge of my seat whilst reading.
The characters are interesting, and it was great to see them further develop as you gain more insight to the story.
Jude is a fantastic protagonist, and Cardan is also a brilliant and interesting character.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes fantasy (though obviously read the first book in the series before this one). It is also good for any fans of ACOTAR or Shadowhunters. If (like me) you also love a good enemies to lovers story, then this is the way to go, as Jude and Cardan’s relationship develops throughout the story.
