With every new chapter, with every new word, this story is twisting and twirling deeper into my blood. It's addicting and maddening, whenever I think I have the upper hand and know where it's going, I'm thrown off, left reeling and aching to know more. The world is gorgeously realised, yet enough detail is withheld to keep it mysterious and just out of your grasp. The characters are bold and engaging, with sharp tongues, many exchanges in this book left me smirking, others rendered me speechless. I cannot wait to see how this series wraps up in the third instalment, and I urge anyone who hasn't read this series yet to catch up and join the many of us who are bewitched by Black's haunting vision of Farie!
