I absolutely adore the style of writing within this book with it being quite elegantly written. Though I am quite new to Holly Black, I have heard a countless amount of recommendations to read this book series (among others that I will be sure to read after) and I can confidently say that I am not at all disappointed with what I have read.
I love fantasy and all the magical facets, and this particular read seems to check most (if not all) the boxes on what a good fantasy story should possess - the aspect of romance, the action and plot twists. As well as this, if you are particularly drawn to the enemies to lovers trope, then this is something you should definitely read.
Jude is a brilliant and strong character with traits that continue to make her intriguing, and I hope to read the rest just to see how she continues to develop throughout the story.
