It was a great sequel to the cruel prince and maybe it was even better. The relationship between carden and Jude begins to advance and that is great about this book but also the other books of this series that their live hate relationship ship keeps growing even if they don’t want it too.
The other characters in the book start to become more interesting as well and a hell of a lot happened. The plot of the book was a bit less because you didn’t really know what they were working toward. The end was very sad and you start speculating about what could happen in the next book. It doesn’t disappoint.
Last but not least was the writing style. You had multiple parts and saw everything from the same perspective but that worked for this book.
