I genuinely enjoyed this book, despite its jar-hanging ending and in my opinion, I liked the first book better. The book included an amazing plot, full of twists and the ending left me in shock that I forgot the majority of it.

After I read the first book, the cruel prince, I was eager to read the second one and I must say it was a whole adventure. Now I am just as eager to read the next book, the queen of nothing. But overall it lived up to its expectation and I don't regret reading it.

I love how Jude always tries to take matters into her own hands and fixes other people's mistakes, and I feel like Jude deserves better. she does all of this just to get her brother onto the throne and in the end (SPOILER)(SPOILER)(SPOILER) she gets sent to the human world and is never allowed to come back.

However, it was a great read and is a very strong sequel which amazingly sets the third book.
