The book opens another world to me that I have never know of. It is so good that I grew attached to the story. I love love LOVE! The part where the High King’s senecharl threatens Prince Dain’s follower with a knife under sudden move. It’s thrilling and fun to me. Not to mention, her choice of words towards Prince Dain after the slap. The features of each and every character mentioned is very unique and attracting. The plot is very good. However, there are some parts that does not suit my liking such as the scene where the High King accepts the requests of the blacksmith and Mother Marrow. It shows the High King’s low intelligence and low thinking skills towards tricks and shortcomings from his enemies. Besides that, I like how the mortal woman kept herself composed despite the High King’s refusal to hear and follow her advices. Other than that, I love how the mortal woman deals with all of her matters.
