This series was my first ever fantasy series, so I wasn’t sure if I would like it. All I would see on instagram and twitter was about Jude and Cardan. I saw that it was an enemies to lovers romance and was sold. My favourite trope of all time especially when they want to murder each other. I love how Jude is such a badass character and I admire her so much. Jude’s character development was fantastic. I love how she proves everyone wrong time again just cause she’s not faerie. She also made sure Cardan kept in line all the time. I know I only talked about Jude but Jude Duarte you have my heart.
This is a good introduction into fantasy if you haven’t read it before. I’m also glad I read this after all the books were released because I wouldn’t of been able to stand waiting what happened after Cardan became king.
