This book is a good sequel to 'Cruel Prince'. I'm happy that we got see more of the faerie world because I love it so much. I liked seeing the relationship between Jude and Cardan evolve, and the one between Jude and Tyrin. I alsoliked the fact that we got to see a little more of Heather and Vivienne. I loved to see how Jude evolved from being someone who listened to the faes to someone who was ruling them. Cardan also changed a lot and learned from Jude and learnt to appreciate power but I was shocked when I read the final plot twist and very disapointed in Cardan for his betrayal. The first quarter of the book was kinda slow but then lots of thing happened and kept happening that made me want to read the book so fast. But overall this book is an amazing book with good characters, love, betrayal and even more, I recommend it to everyone and can't wait to read the next one.
