An amazing second instalment to the Folk Of Air series and well worth the read. I absolutely loved it and would recommend to Cassandra Claire and Sarah J.Maas fans.

Jude and Cardan’s relationship has plenty of ups and down. And now she has more power than she could imagine but has to fight to keep Cardan on her side to determine a future for the true heir of Elfhame. In this book Jude has a character arc and it is lovely to go on her journey with her as it’s like watching your daughter or best friend grow up. This book takes place around six months after the Cruel Prince and can not be read as a stand-alone book.
I won’t lie that I wasn’t very keen on reading this book, but it’s phenomenal and now I can’t stop reading it, I think I’ve become addicted.
The last few pages have a few surprises and when you read it, you won’t know what hit you.
