The Wicked King is a book that took my breath away.
As I write this review after finishing the book less than 10 minutes ago, my heart is still full of so many emotions. I am still gobsmacked with the ending. Seriously gobsmacked, I don't know how I am going to cope waiting a year for the answers.
The Wicked King is full of twist and turns. Everyone has their own agenda, you are never sure who you can and can't trust (more likely can't trust instead of can trust). You are kept on your toes, as you never no what to expect.
Holly Black sucked me into to the world of Fae from page 1 and by page 322 I was wishing for more pages. The world, characters and story are so complex, interesting and compelling I don't want to stop reading.
One thing I have learnt for the series NEVER underestimate someone.
Holly Black is the true Fae Queen.
