This is the second book in a trilogy.I have to say this was my favorite book in this series. I love Jude so much, she is such an amazing main character. I like how brave and morally grey she is and I admire her strength. Cardan is also an amazing love interest and I enjoy his encounters with Jude. He isn't the best at showing his love for Jude though. I love Cardan's backstory a lot. The two characters I really hate are Locke and Taryn, I want them dead for what they did to Jude. At the beginning of the book I just wanted to murder him. I also cannot stand Cardan's brother. The rest of the characters are amazing though. I absolutely adore Vivi and I love the LGBT representation, she and Heather are adorable together. The ending of this book really has me on edge, as I said I love Cardan a lot but he really messed up this time. The author's writing style is amazing and Holly is one of my favorite authors. I definitely recommend it!
