I loved this sequel, the characters continue to grow, I loved the character development of the love interest, they become stronger , smarter and more powerful than ever. The enemies to lovers trope always has me in a cholkhold, so this book has done the same. The setting elfhame is one of those univers where you’d die to go to but we all know they’d kill us in an instant, but that won’t stop us. It is truly a magical place. The author did an amazing job on elongating the story, I didn’t get bored at all, it’d always make you wonder and guess what’ll happen next. I found myself thinking about it in class. I also love the fact that the characters travel through the human world and elfhame , personally I find it very similar to travelling back in time and forth , because elfhame is very old , medieval and classic place on the other hand the human world is more modern and up to date , overall this is an amazing and interesting book , I would absolutely recommend it to everyone
