I can honestly say I this book made me fall in love with the cruel prince trilogy even more than before. In the wicked king I think we get i deeper insight into cardan and judes relationship aswell as the political views in the fae world with Princess Nicasia and Queen Orlagh of the undersea.
It was very interesting to read also regarding Taryn Duarte who betrayed her twin sister in the first book by having a relationship with the man Jude was also romantic with.
This book was utterly intoxicating!!
It had me smiling , laughing , some points even crying and then wanting to throw the book at the wall at that cliff hanger. CARDAN. Jude is now queen of the faerie land and NOW Cardan exiles her.
Whatever a reading may be looking for it’s in this book - heart in throat action, deadly romance, double-crossing, morally grey characters- this is one heck of a ride.
Can’t wait to read the next one!
