This is the sequel to The Cruel Prince which I absolutely also loved and gave five stars to and I also reviewed – which I’ve just got and read and it’s more of fangirl screaming.

I pretty much read this in a day because I needed more Jude and Cardan in my life and I was not disappointed!
That ending though! I was not expecting that whatsoever, I’m distraught. This book was an emotional rollercoaster of a ride throughout the entire thing! It was exciting, intense, shocking but overall it was gripping!
The characters developments were sure as hell interesting and I honestly expecting nothing from this book, everything surprised me and from ‘book two’ in this book it just got super intense, I was just getting nervous for Jude and I was trying not to put off reading it because I knew nothing was going to go well..
‘I have heard that for mortals, the feeling of falling in love is very like the feeling of fear.’
Overall The Wicked King did not disappoint but I think if you didn’t enjoy the first one you probably won’t enjoy this one as I’ve seen a few people who didn’t like the first one much like this one either. BUT if you loved The Cruel Prince as much as I did then this one was even better however you should prepare yourself because you will hurt afterwards! I’m so excited for Queen of Nothing, I honestly don’t know how I can wait a whole year for it! 🙁
