Honestly l really enjoyed reading this book. The first book the cruel prince was ok so when l started this book l was unsure if l would like it. But l originally heard about this series from tic tok and it was known as an enemies to lovers. One thing l will say is that this series really covers the enemies part. If your into enemies to lovers don’t expect much lovers. There was some but it was like more on the side if that makes sense. I enjoyed reading about Carden and Jude. I feel like they really bring different things out in each other when they are near one another. One character l wasn’t the biggest fan of Locke in this book. I never really liked him but this book made me hate him. One last thing in this book that l liked was Holly Blacks writing style. Just everything about the series the idea of it and the way that it is portrayed in the books is amazing.
