I loved the plot developing of this book. As the sequel of cruel prince I thought it was much more interesting and engaging. This is because the main character feels conflict as to whom to trust due to previous events. She dislikes the father figure in her life and tries to win a position in power but later doubts it. This is an enemies to lovers trope which was what made me want to read the book and it is delievered very well.
Though like the first book it is worthy and this makes it a little difficult to understand. I dont like how some of the concepts from the cruel primce are repeated multiple times in this ook.
A positive thing is that the characters are amazing and humorous. Their characters are built in the books so that the readers themselves feel connected to them. They each have their individual backgrounds which is something you dont see much often in books.
