I enjoyed the different world compared to other fantasy and magic stories due to the character development and the relationships between certain characters. I do however think that some characters didn't really improve and could have and that the author Holly black was trying really really hard to give them a redemption arc when it definitely wasn't needed. I really enjoyed the plot of the stories and plot twist. I really liked the fact that the main character Jude wasn't annoying unlike other fantasy novels. there was a lot of action going on in the book and I really liked the leadership role the Jude and Cardan (the main characters) were given it added a lot to there personality types. my favourite part of the whole series is when your realized how badly you misjudge some of the charters.
