This book was a good lead on from the previous book. I still hate Tarin and if it is possible i hate her even more in this book. I still hate Locke, so the 2 of them deserve each other.

I didn’t like that Cardan was still on good terms with Locke even after what he did, BUT I did love how Jude was pretty much the ruler of the land. She went from being a human in a fae land to pretty much a queen- literally and technically. She is what I aspire to be. I loved Cardan and Jude’s relationship, but i feel as if it could have been more developed. It was sweet though. The fact that Cardan could trust her made me feel goose bumps and the scene where she says she hates him, was so unique.

“I hate you,” I breathe into his mouth. “I hate you so much that sometimes I can’t think of anything else.”

The ending left shook and it did want me to read the next book. Overall, my rating is 3 ½ stars.
