This book is just as amazing as the first one! The plot thickens in this book and I was hooked instantly and couldn’t put it down. The characters all develop more and you learn more reasoning behind their actions. There are a few plot twists which caught me off guard as well which just adds to the story! The style of writing has improved with the second book but is still amazing and I love the way it is written because it draws you into the story and makes you want to be in the world with these characters. Jude, one of the prominent main characters, definitely develops further in this one and her relationship with Cardan is explored and tested more and that adds a lot to the story because in the first one hers and Cardan’s relationship was non-existent, aside from him bullying her, and the way it develops in the second book is amazing and I can only hope that they grow closer in the third and final book in the series. I also love the way Jude protects her brother and Taryn and she is just an amazing character overall.
