For me this book series is well developed with its world build and storyline but... the real reason this book makes my heart bleed is the romance. It’s intense and it’s beautifully sinister. Neither character feels the need to hold back with one another, they both are from the same cloth. They have both suffered, maybe that’s why even when at odds, they are brought together.
We also all have to agree that Cardan is also a simp for Jude at this point... whilst I am a sumo for Cardan. I need an irl tailed prince with pointy ears, dark, deadly and handsome .
Without a doubt this book put a spanner into the works, on multiple occasions. Especially with the ending, I did not see it coming. Recommended to all.
