Even better than the first book, and the first book was absolutely phenomenal. Cardan and Jude’s relationship and characters just keep getting better and better. The story is so complex and intricate. The romance continues to grow, and you watch the two characters slowly get more and more infatuated with one another. The plot is filled with magic and incredible plot. It was so incredibly difficult to put down. I read the book in less than six hours full. Absolutely addicting. Like candy, you cannot get enough of it. Overall amazing book and incredible follow up to the first masterpiece. If I could give it more than five stars, I would. Would recommend to fans of Sarah J Maas or Cassandra Clair.
