I loved this book! The plot had alot of political intrigue and I loved the dynamic between Jude and Madoc now becoming rivals. I love Jude as a main character so much she is relatable and imperfect in way that makes her perfect (in my opinion). I loved seeing her and Cardans relationship bloom but I love how it is not rushed and there is still this love/hate betrayal scenario. I love Holly Blacks writing so much that I've decided I want to read her other faerie books since her writing and just about everything is what I love. I love the world of Faerie and I love how Holly writes faeries in a way that is significantly linked to folk lore and is accurate. And boy oh boy that ending still has me shook. I'm interested to see what happens now as that was quite the cliff hanger and I have a couple questions...
