After a jaw-dropping cliffhanger of the first book, Wicked King brings us into(if its even possible) an even more fast-paced course of actions full of lies, backstabbing and plot twists.
I absolutely loved Jude in this book- her character has really grown on me from the last book, and i thought she stepped into her new role incredibly well. After reading this book i don't know if ill be in awe or complete terror if i met her in real life!
And Cardan. Oh cardan. He is everything you can expect in his book- plus more deception. His character developed significantly from A Cruel Prince, and the romance between him and jude was just the right pace. (though i admit there were times when i wish i could bash their heads against a wall!)
I felt like the world expanded a lot more in this book. we see a lot of Taryn- who i admit I'm not that fond how however i feel like she is a lot more like jude than we give her credit for.
Overall i am still recovering from the ending and cant wait to start the next book!
