I enjoyed this so much more than The Cruel Prince! It was just an amazing read from start to finish. I loved all the politics, scheming and the different agendas in this book. It was full of twists and turns, deceit, betrayal, and I had a hard time predicting what would happen! There was so many tricks and it was fun to see them all play out! Jude and Cardan face many threats and challenges; some they face together and some they don't. If they could truly work together they would be unstoppable!
I really enjoyed learning more about Cardans past and now see him as less of a spoilt brat after this book! I really love Jude, she has to be one of my favourite badass female fictional characters. She can play these faeries at their own game and they still underestimate her. I think she is insanely smart and has a really strong will, I do think she bit off far more than she could chew though. I really can't wait for the next one after that ending, like damn if was good!
