I prefered a wicked king to a vruel prince much more i really enjoyed holly black took the story for this book and how the charachters have developed.Cardan is now king of elflame and i dont think anyone is more suprised than him.Taryn is marrying locke(unfortunately)and oak is in hiding with Vivi.Cardan must still do everything jude tells him as there romance begins to progress we get to know Cardan better and fall in love with him a little bit more i still stand by the fact that his and judes realtionship is the most interesting storyline in this book.This book also ends an a cliffhanger even bigger in my opinion than the cliffhanger from a cruel prince this boook is where we begin to see another side to cardan and maybe even jude.I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who didnt enjoy the cruel prince as much as they thought they would because the story gets so much better.
