Jude was an absolutely fascinating character to follow, and I loved every minute of her narration. The romance blossomed more in this book and was addicting and just right. Some parts of the book made me squeal with joy, while others brought my heart crumbling down to my feet.
All the characters in this book were so likable—or I hated them with all my heart—while others were in the category of perfect balance between both likable and unlikable. There are none who I can say are purely moral and good, and none vice versa; but this is what makes a book so amazing and gripping, right?
The plot of The Wicked King was fantastic. Everything was paced so well, and I loved (mostly) everything that happened throughout this book. Every event happened for a certain reason, every character said or did a certain thing for a certain reason.
Overall, I'll go with five out of five stars for the sequel of The Cruel Prince. Definitely liked it a little more than the first book, but that's because of the romance, hehehe.
