the plot of this whole series is simply wonderful. the author crafted a very interesting fantasy world, everything about this world is great. i have always been a fan of the fae, and this book is one of the best about them. the political intrigue and the plot twists are amazing.
jude duarte is a fantastic main character, she knows who she is and she know how to take charge. she is such a strong female character, and i aspire to be as strong as her. cardan is also great, i love him, he’s amazing. the plot twist at the end of this book was something i did not see coming to be honest, and it was just this good.
this book explored a concept that i loved so much, i always have loved political intrigue and this book has so much of that. the romance is splendid as well. but the concept of royalty and power and such is my favorite thing about this book and this series.
