I read the folk of air trilogy at one go. It was quite hard to get through but Personally, I think that the wicked king is the best out of all 3 books. Although book 3 put me in a reading slump I quite enjoyed it and thus book left us on the edge of my seat. Some of the characters are beautifully written. June, Carden and Madoc being my favourite. In Carden, I saw a development a lot of development that happened over time and Jude reminded me of the solid female she really is and that nothing was changed even though certain events happened that would drastically change someone. Madoc is one of my favourite villains in any book as he showed that even though he was the person who raised Jude he still turned against her just like what happens everyday in peoples lives. The world-building was not my favourite but it was very unique. Overall it was quite ane enjoyable but contrary to the hype it is not my favourite.
