The 2nd installment is just a thrilling as the first! The slow burn romance is just a love/hate and before she knows it shes fallen for him all again risking t all to have the whole cake and not just the slice of it!
The romance the drama and the typical fae double threats lying and not lying. I don't want to give away the ending but my god, just when you think that you'll have a happy ending bam! Another plot twist that makes you want to run and grab the next book straight away so that you can keep on reading and find out what happens.
The family dynamic in this is really good, leftover from the first book is the betrayal she handed to both Corden and her "father". They are both plotting constantly in this book to get her back earn her trust to just throw her under the bus once again!
If you havent read this book yet I would say hurry up and pick it up. Such a page turner!
