I loved the first book of the series a.k.a. the crew prints. But this book has some type of sparkle in it but the first one didn’t have. You can really see more of a connection starting to form between Jude and Cardan. you can also start to see how much more conflict that Jude has to struggle with. I love how this has more action in it and hell the main character is trying to realize more about her surroundings and to the real antagonist is. Holly black did a great job describing the events that occurred in this book. If I’m being honest I came into this book looking for and I don’t think it was at the certain in potential it could’ve been at. other than that this book is well written and to be honest I think it was better than the first in some aspects including the relationship between the two main characters I am looking forward to reading the next book to see how well that will turn out as well.
