This book is an overall gem. I didn’t think that it could get better from “the cruel prince” but I was very wrong! I couldn’t put this book down and I loved how Jude and Carden’s relationship progressed, and man that cliff hanger at the end, luckily I have the next book and I don’t know what I would do if I didn’t. Jude just became more badass and I love how Carden seems to act differently around Jude, like he becomes softer and kinder. I can’t wait to see how Jude manages in the mortal world and how Carden will do without Jude (I suspect he will become a mess) I hope Jude still acts badass and stays strong. Carsten will probably regret the decision he made and beg for Jude to come back to Elfhame. I can’t wait to see what happens to Madoc and Oak but mostly I can’t wait to see Jude and Carden’s relationship progresses further. I also want to see how Taryne and Locke manage as husband aNd wife.
