When I first read it I thought holy cow or I would say, Holly Black?
We have known since the first book that Jude is a very strong persona but in this book, she proved that she is stronger than we believed.
In this book, we saw that Jude is not an obsession for Cardan. He really loves her. If we track this line we finally have some better scenes with Cardan & Jude. And at the end of the book, we can agree that Cardan just wanted to overwhelm Jude. For me, it is really impressive.
Nicasia has been avoiding me since the first book. She is the "villain" but she is not evil enough to be good at it.
But on the other hand, if Jude would be the villain of the story she would be unstoppable.
The storyline was a little bit confusing for me in the beginning but in the end, I would give a 9 out of 10 because of the plot twist.
The characteristic is definitely a 10 out of 10 for me. (Especially Cardan <33)
So the whole book is a 9.5 out of 10 for me but it's definitely a book series that everyone should read.
