This is the second book in the Folk of the air series and I personally enjoyed it more than the first one titled ‘the cruel prince’. I just love how strong the main character, Jude is in his book. She is so inspiring and such an amazing main character! What I also loved about this book was the romance was really starting to form between Jude and Cardan wich I was extremely excited about because I think they are perfect for each other. The chemistry that have just blew my mind and the banter between them is just incredibly written. I’m already in love with this wholesome world of Elfhame and I’m incredibly interested in the politics of it(I don’t usually love politics in book or don’t understand them) but I think that Holly Black did an amazing job with this book. Overall I adore this new magical world and I’ll definitely recommend the book to everyone I know.
