An amazing second book with so many twists. I cannot even describe how much i love this book. Judes character is so fascinating as she has a twin and is clearly the ‘worse’ one and she doesn’t fit in. It’s really exciting seeing how far she’ll go out of pride and in order to get the knighthood she so dearly wants. Cardans character (trying not to spoil anything) was developed so well that eve though he was ever so CRUEL, as i reader i couldn’t help loving him. I feel as if many people can relate to the character of Jude because a lot of us don’t ‘fit in’ and it’s comforting to know that she’s an extremely strong woman. This is a perfect slow burn enemies to lovers, where cardan is just misunderstood. Everything about it is beautiful, the characters, elfhame and the cover art. This book is full of betrayal, plot twists and of course a bad ass protagonist. I have read all of the folk of air and my only critique is that i wish there were more! Please read this, you won’t regret it!
