I was very excited to read this book considering that the last book left of at such a cliffhanger, but what I read was not at all what I was expecting. there were a lot of plot twist and a lot more development. and now I know the world and the characters, so it was way less confusing reading this book and I felt very involved. it also evoked a lot of emotions in me (mostly crying) and it hurt me in ways a book never did. but the ending... the ending is what absolutely killed me. but all in all I absolutely loved. I love Jude so much. how brave, fierce, and just absolutely amazing she is. she's one of my all time favorite female book characters of all time. also the more you know Carden the more...weird it feels. because I painted this image of him in my mind and now we're seeing his real emotions its kinda weird but also relieving. but the betrayal in this book was absolutely unbelievable and made me so unbelievably angry.
