I honestly cannot rate holly black enough after being totally lost in the series. The wicked king was fantastic, full of twists and turns and genuinely beautiful to read. The authors world building skills are amazing and I felt I was part of an intricate, beautiful and magical land. I love how the characters progress and grow through the series(some more than others). What I love most about the world of fairie land is that it isnt all beautiful but deadly, treacherous and terrifying as well. I really fell in love with Jude, her strength and determination to succeed was awe inspiring and I cannot wait to see what happens next with Jude, her family and most importantly the wicked king himself Cardan.
