A fantastic follow-up to Cruel Prince. I began reading the day after I purchased the book. Black did an excellent job at establishing up the characters in their environments and expressing their psychological states through Jude's head. I admit that sequels aren't often as amazing as the originals, but I was looking forward to it nevertheless. After I finished the first book, I began working on the second after two days.
This series is fantastic. Jude is a fantastic character and a strong, self-sufficient lady who doesn't need a guy to tell her what to do or to assist her in any manner. I admire her for doing everything she needs to accomplish what she wants.
