This book is hands down my favourite book series. The queer representation is amazing!!! Its set in two worlds the human world and the world of the fae (this is where the majority of the book takes place) and in the fae world being queer is just part of the norm. This was so refreshing as I've read so many books where that played off of the trauma of being queer. WHEN I READ FANTASY IS IT I WANT TO ESCAPE HARSH REALITIES. Which is why this book is so perfect to me. Aside from normalizing LGBT+ relationships, this book has outstanding world-building and all the characters read as real and loveable to me (even if you hate to love them). I also loved Jude's character and her morally gray characterization. Carden's flaws, strengths and motivations were also soooo well written. AND THE BANTER!!! Listen I love Jude and Carden's entire dynamic. I haven't even scratched the surface on why this book is so good but to get a full understanding I recommend picking it up and giving it a go ;)
