The story opens with a diary entry from Nina Ford explaining her suspicions regarding the infidelity of her young husband, how she plans to confront him and how she believes that he will not respond well. This is closely followed by a newspaper report of Nina's death. Hmm , all set up for us to suspect the husband, Connor, and his new young love interest. I definitely wanted to read further and find out how this developed. Is Connor really to blame or is there a twist?
