Nothing stands out about the blurb that makes me think this has anything different to offer. The message of the opening chapters is that Connor is not a nice guy, letting his rich family influence his choice of girlfriend and use their power to control the lives of others. I don't think I'm that interested in reading about such privileged people even as a "beach read".
