I equally liked and disliked this book. It was fast paced with twists that I didn't see coming but at the same time I didn't 'like' any of the characters and didn't feel invested in their story. I found the relationship between the two main characters unbelievable and was frustrated by the ending. I think it would have been good to have a bit more development of their backstories and relationship when they rekindled later in the book. More about Nina too might have made me feel more sorry for her. It felt like there were a lot of plot twists squashed in at the end with not much time spend dwelling on them or what they might mean for the plot. Having said this, I did enjoy reading the book and found the plot engaging and unpredictable.
