A good read that runs at a pace to keep your attention.
This novel was received as a Giveaway via the First reads site.
My first impression was that although it was fast moving from the very first chapter it was going to be one of those American type love stories without much substance. However it is more a mystery/whodunnit/psychological thriller. It was not obvious at the outset who the villain of the piece was, and although I had my suspicions early the reasons why and who the accomplices were took a bit more working out.
Having said this, the novel kept my interest until the end leaving no loose ends to be solved, and was one of those books that you just had to keep reading until the end.
Some of the storyline reminded me of 'Rebecca', however the language used was far from it.
Overall an enjoyable book!
