As soon as I read the synopsis of The Wife Who Knew Too Much I knew I HAD to read it! I adore books where the main characters are from wealthy backgrounds... it's pure escapism for me! This one didn't let me down in that respect. I loved the glamourous descriptions of the Hampton's and lavish parties! However, some of the storylines and characters were a little stereotypical... for instance, the naive pool girl meets wealthy troublemaker boy. It would be good to read something I felt I'd never read before.⠀

I thought the first half of the book was a bit rushed, and I would have liked the storyline to build more gradually. The second half of the book was much better, and I loved the twists and turns in the ending. For once, I had loosely guessed the final outcome, although there was a surprising revelation between two of the characters I imagine no one could predict! I would have liked a meatier epilogue too... sometimes I find them a little tedious, but with this one, I would have liked to know more about what happened next!⠀

Overall, I enjoyed the book but it didn't blow me away. I have another Michelle Campbell book to read on my Kindle, so hopefully I enjoy that one more!
