This story was told from the viewpoints of two women - our main narrative is provided by Tabitha, with occasional interludes provided by Nina.
Nina Ford is a very wealthy woman, who is found dead near the beginning of the novel. Tabitha is a waitress, whose connection to Nina is Connor - Connor is Nina's husband, and he had a relationship with Tabitha when they were teenagers. Tabitha and Connor have recently reconnected, and have realised that they still feel the same about each other. It is difficult to write much more about the book without giving away twists within the story, so I'll leave it there.
The book is billed as a thriller, but it was bit heavy on the love story/romance side. Whilst it didn't go in the direction that I thought it would originally go from the blurb, I did find that I could see twists or revelations coming before they happened. It was readable, but if you are looking for a decent thriller, I'd look elsewhere...
