I don't normally read thrillers but trying to broaden my reading genres. Edward cheats on his wife Nina with so glad models who couldn't hold down jobs. Edward been older than Nina she felt like she had to put up with his behaviour, until he died after she nursed him and then she became a very wealthy widow.
Nina a bit later in life met Connor who seemed from the off set that all he was after was her money, it seemed very predictable what was going to happen.
She hires a private investigator to confirm he's seeing other woman so she can divorce him and take back what is rightfully hers, then she throws a 4th July party and tells him to leave but then it starts to take a dark turn. And is obvious who the killer is but does he get away with it. It's a good book that i wouldn't normally have read but it was easy to read, not confusing, easy characters to relate to. Good book.
