I thought this book was going to be all thriller no filler. I was wrong it starts by delving into a journal entry of Nina the deceased. Where she reveals her second husband is having an affair and due to their prenup she fears he may try to kill her.
So obviously you immediately want to side with her and make sure she gets justice!
However then we move to Tabitha who reconnects with her one true love. You want it to be perfect and you want it to be pure. You convince yourself immediately there is a twist! Tabitha cant be involved ! Perhaps Nina had a more sinister version of events in her head. I enjoyed this style of writing. It made me feel like a gushing teenager seeing my crush walk in to the room and smile at me. As we know 2020 was the year of isolation and i didnt think a book would or could give me butterflies! It left me wanting to discover more and read faster.
So much more than i expected it to be.
The cover is kind of hollywood- mainstream glamour. Which will attract most people.
