This is a thriller that's set in The Hamptons in America.
The central characters are Connor Ford and his two wives, Nina and Tabitha.
Nina Levitt, first wife of Connor, was a beautiful successful businesswoman who was twenty years older than him yet she still married him as she was infatuated by him.
Two years later, she was found dead in her mansion.
Tabitha also known as Tabby, second wife of Connor, was initially a waitress who has always been in love with him since they first met when she was only seventeen. Thirteen years later, they meet again and rekindle their relationship. However not everything is as it seems.
I was quite surprised that I found this an interesting read. I liked how part of the story was written as diary entries so you understand Nina's and Tabitha's thoughts as well as feelings. I also liked how it went back and forth between the past and present because it created suspense. The ending is definitely something I didn't expect.
